Porcelain veneers can be a predictable option for carefully selected teeth, but favorable averages do not erase individual uncertainty. The safest plan preserves enamel, controls disease, respects function and accepts that a bonded ceramic restoration will need monitoring. A patient who understands the full life cycle is better positioned to decide whether the cosmetic benefit justifies the irreversible step.
